I was tired of looking at the tangled mess of wires behind my end table and now things look a lot tidier. The rattan box was only $20 when I got it...but now it's like $25--but, I liked the basket look better than other plastic boxes that I considered. Even plastic boxes would look better than my jumbled mess of wires! LOL The rattan box has an opening at each end for cords/wires to enter/exit and the interior was large enough to hold the surge-protector. I hope the photos I've included here help you decide if this item is the right one for you. :-)

I use this to hide my cords on my bathroom counter. It is large enough to cover my power strip. Sturdy enough to place something on top of it. Very easy to use as it has a top that opens. I would like to see these in other colors.

This cable/cord box is aesthetically pleasing and an effective way to keep the mess of cords out of sight. The box looks like a wood/rattan box but is made out of the plastic feeling material you often find on outdoor furniture. The small sides have openings for cords to run in and out of. The quality of this box feels adequate for its purpose. The height of the box allows plenty of space for a surge protector with a charger box plugged into it and then a cord. I would gladly order another of these if the need arises.

This will work perfect for hiding the power strip with our mess of cords. The size is about two single power strips wide and a little longer than the length of your average power strip.
